The Timmins Dance Scholarship to be renamed The Lynne Fox Scholarship

Timmins Academy of Dance, Halesowen is very proud to announce that the dance scholarship presented termly to one of their students is to be renamed after the academy's founder, the late Miss Lynne Fox, to remember and honour her legacy left to dance.

Miss Lynne Fox founded the school more than 40 years ago, and during that time inspired hundreds of young dancers from around and within the local area to be the best dancers and people they could be in whatever they chose to do.

In announcing The Lynne Fox Scholarship, Jayne Lawrence, Timmins Academy Principal, commented: "It is important, that we deliver this strong message to our current students. As we feel now more than ever before with new global challenges that young people face, dance schools like ours play a vital role in our local communities.

The Lynne Fox Scholarship is to be awarded to a student who tries their best 100% of the time, is passionate in what they do, listens and improves during a term".

Currently, more than 60 Timmins Dance students have scholarships awarded to them.
