Now it feels like we have a proper ballet floor!

With a CV that includes training at the Royal Ballet School, dancing with English National Ballet, qualification as an ISTD teacher and a spell as a guest teacher at Elmhurst School for Dance, Miho Tsurutani, Principal at Tokyo’s The Ballet Garden, had a strong opinion on what floor she desired for her studio.

“Harlequin Cascade was absolutely the floor I wanted,” said Miho when speaking to members of the Harlequin team who visited her studio this week. Presenting her with a certificate confirming that her studio is equipped with a Harlequin Cascade performance surface, Kasper Nyboe, General Manager of Harlequin Floors in Asia revealed that this was the first installation of Harlequin’s popular vinyl dance floor in a private dance school in Japan.

Describing herself as “delighted”, Miho Tsurutani summed up her experience working with Harlequin; “Now it feels like we have a proper ballet floor!”.
