A BA (Hons) course in dance can be offered by colleges and universities alike, however, when offered by a school/college usually they are only provided when a dance student is undertaking a three-year sixth form programme of dance study, during which some 75% of the time is being spent in doing physical dance training and exercise.
The BA (Hons) course will be built around a governing body such as the Trinity National Diploma in Professional Dance, with the BA (Hons) course culminating in a year of pre-professional experience, delivered through the schools/colleges own touring company.
