Due to popular demand, BalletBoyz has announced the second leg of their UK tour of Life, for which the award-winning company will be joined by a brand new member. The production, which received its world premiere at London’s Sadler’s Wells in April of this year to widespread critical acclaim, initially toured over April and May. The show features new commissions by Javier de Frutos and Pontus Lidberg. For this leg of the tour, Josh Wild will be making his BalletBoyz debut with Life., having been recently selected to join the all-male company. Wild joins BalletBoyz from Scottish Dance Theatre. The production will also tour the USA in 2017. The piece is co-produced by Sadler’s Wells in association with Arts Depot.
The show features an original score and the evening takes an elegant, powerful and provocative look at life and death, presented in BalletBoyz’s inimitable style. The production will tour Brighton; Barnstaple; Colchester; Leicester; Swindon; High Wycombe; Richmond; Bath; Poole; Shrewsbury and Reading. Full listings are below.
